Itinerary

 

 

Day 1 - Arrive Aberdeen and proceed to the Udny Arms Hotel. Welcome tour briefing today (Udny)

Day 2 - Round of golf at the world ranked #52 Cruden Bay (pictured above), a course that will remain in your mind for years to come (Udny—B)

Day 3 - Play the great links at Royal Aberdeen, where Tom Watson won the British Seniors two years ago. (Udny—B)

 Day 4 - Drive to Lossiemouth for a round on Old Moray and check in at the Claymore House with it’s great restaurant (Claymore—B)


Day 5 - Play Nairn, site of the ’99 Walker Cup and sightsee at Loch Ness and Culloden battlefield (Claymore—B)

Day 6 - Play the best northern links at #15 world ranked Royal Dornoch GC and maybe tour the nearby Glenmorangie distillery in the afternoon? (Claymore—B)

 Day 7 - Your choice today to play lay the traditional links at Brora, Nairn Dunbar or Boat of Garten, all local favorites "off the beaten track" (Claymore—B)

Welcoming hotel at the center of the village, overlooking the Ythan Estuary. Public areas are full of character and include a relaxing lounge that is comfortably furnished in traditional style. There is also a choice of bars and a split-level bistro offering an interesting selection of dishes carefully prepared from quality raw ingredients. WWG Rating: B

CLAYMORE HOUSE HOTEL - Nairn
Enthusiastically run by Andrew and Rosemary Machen-Young this tastefully appointed tourist and sporting hotel is very popular with visitors and locals. Bedrooms are comfortably modern in style and the nice bar and restaurant make this ideally located hotel a real find! WWG Rating: B

 

2007-2008 Prices

 

PRICE: $2780 per golfer double occupancy / $1615 non-golfer double occupancy / Single room add $570 - all based on 4 travelers sharing a rental self-drive automatic van. A $750 per person deposit is required for reservations. Past WWG clients eligible for “DivotEnds Award” of $150 off any tour. Tour terms and conditions apply. Rates are subject to change for 2008.
